This is my 17th year teaching. I started my career in Sonoma County teaching third grade. My husband and I made the move to this area back in 2003 because of the wonderful schools and family community. We have four beautiful children, my oldest daughter, Nicole, my daughter Michaela, my son Jory, and my youngest son, Ryan. We also have two four-legged babies named Tika and Odin. They are the inspiration for our class theme, the Wolf Pack!

I love teaching! I love getting to know my kids for who they are and who they are becoming. I love helping them learn about their own brain and how the brain learns. I believe in the power of yet, I try to foster a growth mindset in the classroom. "I don't understand...yet!" or "I can't do this...yet!" Motivating kids to want to learn can be a challenge, but it is a challenge I fully embrace!

My goal for all my students is to leave the Wolf Pack feeling more confident, more capable and more courageous for the next phase in their lives.
