Mrs. Traina's Library Blog

Hi Kaseberg Hawks!

As we begin the 2020/21 school year and I really want to bring the library experience to you!

I thought that we could all stay connected in a few different ways with this blog, here I will be sharing the following:

  • The Kaseberg School Read Aloud Library and Library Catalog Access

  • Book Resources, Author Read Alouds and Websites

  • Monthly activity calendars

  • Fun facts

Reading Matters!

Remember it is very important to read at least 20 minutes every day. There is not a wrong way to read, all you need to do is pick up a book and then:

  • go on a picture and/or sight word walk

  • read out loud to a buddy, a favorite person, pet or stuffed animal

  • read with someone or listen to someone read to you

  • read to self and make connection

All of these options help build your reading vocabulary, skills and confidence. I want you to find books as a way to go on an adventure, learn fun facts, be creative, learn how to things work, build things, try a favorite recipe... the list is endless. Find the love of reading, share what you are reading with your family and friends, give a book talk or recommendation.

MAKE READING FUN!
