My name is Christian Baquero and I am originally from Valparaiso, Chile. I am currently the 7th grade Immersion Social Studies, Science (one section), and STEM (one section) teacher at Kennedy Middle School. I attended Kennedy when I came to this country. Then it was called Kennedy Jr. High. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in History. I have taught in the Redwood City School District for over 20 years. I enjoy reading, especially science fiction books, and anything to do with Star Trek, Doctor Who, and others. I am very excited to start the new school year. It's going to be great!

Este año soy el maestro de Estudios Sociales-Inmersión, Ciencias (una sección) y STEM (una sección) del 7mo grado en Kennedy Middle School. Cuando yo llegué a este país, asistí a la escuela Kennedy también. Antes se llamaba Kennedy Jr. High. Me gradué de UC Santa Cruz en Historia. A mí me encanta la lectura, especialmente los libros de ciencia ficción, o cualquier cosa que tenga que ver con Star Trek, Doctor Who, y otros. Estoy muy entusiasmado en empezar este nuevo año escolar. ¡Va a ser estupendo!
