About Mr. Murray:

My profession is teaching. This is my 25th year in teaching, mostly in 4th grade. I began in 1999. Wow! I've enjoyed these years and look forward to each new school year and the next group of new students I get to help learn. I also have two grown-up daughters: Elena and Melanie. My wife of 37 years is the lovely Julie. I spend a lot of my time outside of school working on my house, hiking in the mountains, riding my bike or reading book after book after book.

Favorites: I don't really have any favorites, but there are many things I like:

The Giants and 49ers, less so recently

Places to Visit: Nature- Mountains, rivers, beaches

Color: Various blues

Food: Deli turkey sandwich; mac and cheese

Book: Outlander books, Harry Potter series, and the current book I'm reading

Movie: All the Harry Potter movies except #3 (boring), Top Gun

Animal: Birds of Prey- Eagles, hawks

Drink: Cafe mocha, Fresh orange/apple juice

TV Show: Discovery Channel, History Channel, National Geographic Channel, Heartland on Netflix
