We all want to breathe life into our classroom. When you have identified what your students need to know, then you can energize tasks with technology.
To push students beyond merely consuming and interacting, we need to give them opportunities to create. Paper activities make it difficult to allow learning to grow organically and to share or collaborate.
Digital tools let students create dynamic products that include a range of media, allow for instructional differentiation, and promote curiosity and collaboration. They also can be updated, provide immediate feedback, offer real-time assistance, and connect to global resources. This makes student's work relevant and meaningful.
A digital tool is not inherently dynamic. It is the student's use of tools and the ways they are used to create and demonstrate learning that is dynamic.
