After School enrichment Program

Monday-Wednesday

3:30-5:00pm

What are Expanded Learning Opportunities?

Expanded Learning Opportunities is defined as engaging, creative and fun learning activities that enhance students’ social, emotional, physical, and academic development through exploration, inspiration, and discovery of their own passions for continued growth.

These opportunities assist with improved achievement in areas of student growth, attendance, and better student/teacher relationships.

Goals of the Bobcat After School Program

The Bobcat After School Program will focus on providing students to engage in enrichment activities that focus on building their academic and social-emotional learning opportunities. These opportunities will engage students in academic enrichment tasks in the areas of math, ELA and the sciences. Students will further have the opportunity to engage in an exploration of the arts through art and performance opportunities. The Bobcat After School program will also focus on providing students with leadership opportunities to help them grow their ability to express and take pride in their skills and identity.

Program Notes

Students enrolled in the after school programming are subject to the Rochester City School District (RCSD) code of conduct during in-person and virtual meetings.

Parents who elect to pick up their students rather than utilizing transportation are responsible for picking students up at the stated end time of their child’s selected program.

Failure to adhere to the code of conduct or failure to meet pick up times on more than three occasions may result in removal from the program to allow a waitlisted student to register.
