K- 6 Implementation of the Next Generation Standards

2022 - 2023 School Year

The district is using this year as a soft implementation of the Next Generation Standards. For grade K-6 teachers are expected to teach math during marking periods 2 and 4.

2023 - 2024 School Year

The Next Generation Standards will be fully implemented.

In the spring of 2024 students in grades 5 and 8 will be tested on the Next Generation Standards.
