As we return to school from our virtual environment, we understand that students will need time to acclimate to being back to school in person. However, expectations are put in place in order to make sure that each child is able to experience a safe learning environment in which they can be active participants in their education.
Students are to attend every class every day. All classes are organized to build on learning and experiences from the previous day. One day out puts a child behind others by a lot. If your child is to miss school, it is their responsibility to get any missed work and make it up within a reasonable timeframe and to bring a note with them when they return stating the reason for the absence.
As we tell the students, you earn your grades they are not given. We will be adhering to our standard grading policy as outlined below:
A+ 95-100% Exceptional,
A 90-94% well above
B+ 85-89% average
B 80-84%
C+ 75-79%

D 65-69%
F below 65% Failing

We will uphold high standards of behavior within the instructional time to ensure every student is learning every day. There are protocols that each teacher will enforce and consistent disruption to these protocols will result in consequences.
