The Student Family Support Center (SFSC) strives to connect students to social/emotional supports offered by RCSD and/or agencies/programs based in the community. As the SFSC Coordinator, I work closely with school and community-based providers to ensure that support services are available and accessible to students and families of Edison and P-Tech.

Edison is fortunate to have several community partners. Services offered by our partners include: academic support/tutoring, individual counseling (mental health/substance use), mentoring, group counseling, workshops, classroom presentations, college/career readiness, and more. The SFSC also works closely with Rochester Regional Health’s School Based Health Center and with Monroe County Probation and Monroe County FACT (former PINS) teams, and maintains relationships with many other community providers and systems in order to support Edison students and families.
