What is Paper?
We are excited to announce the District’s partnership with Paper to provide free, 24/7 access to one-on-one tutoring and writing support for all students in grades 6 – 12.
Paper is the leading provider of unlimited, on-demand tutoring and academic support, including:
1:1 live-chat tutoring sessions with subject-matter experts in over 200 subjects
Expert review on any written work (essays, creative writing, poetry, lab reports, etc.)
Hundreds of resources and activities to help you best support your children at home
Interactive shows and activities to expand learning beyond the classroom
How do students access online tutoring through Paper?
All RCSD students in grades 6 through 12 have access to Paper's online tutoring platform through ROConnect, the District's landing page where students and staff can access all applications and programs. Parents do not have direct access or login for Paper but can explore it with their child once they are logged in on their District-issued or home device.

My child's teachers provide great academic support. How do Paper Tutors fit into my child's academic journey?
Paper tutors are not a replacement for instruction from your child's teachers. Additional supports and an extra set of eyes are valuable to students when and where they need it, even after school. With Paper, students can ask for feedback to help improve their school work. Students can upload assignments, college application essays, and more anytime and anywhere. Tutors promptly review and annotate their writing, leaving notes on style, grammar, plagiarism, and whether they followed rubrics.
