4th Grade Overview

In 4th grade you will have two teachers, myself and Mrs. Hall. I will be teaching Math, Science/Social Studies and an MTSS small group. Mrs. Hall will be teaching ELA/Writing, as well as an MTSS small group. We have a lot to cover this year as we explore being back in our school building full time! I look forward to this journey with you!

All About Mrs. Gauvin

Hello!

I wanted to take a little time to tell you about myself. This is my 14th year teaching, the majority of which has been either 4th or 5th grade. I have taught 13 years at School 16, but my first year I taught 6th grade at School 3. Mrs. Hall and I have been team teaching, or departmentalizing together for a long time, this will be our 7th year! I love to teach Math because when I was a student it was my worst subject so I like to show my students that there are many ways to solve a problem and everyone can do Math!

I have 3 children of my own. Carter is 8 and going into 3rd grade. Luca is 5 and is starting Kindergarten this year. Cora, my youngest is 2 as of September 1st. My husband teaches at World of Inquiry #58. He teaches high school Earth Science. When we are not in school our family loves to travel and see new things. We spent this summer camping and hiking, and traveling!. We also enjoy sports. I love the Buffalo Bills, during football season you can be sure we are watching the game!

I look forward to getting to know each of you!
