March is MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS MONTH! The theme for this year's advocacy campaign is I SEE ME - MUSIC EDUCATION. We will be hosting a variety of school and community performing groups for a large Music in our Schools Month Showcase on Thursday March 28th in the collaboratorium. Speak with professionals in the field, get familiar with the college audition process, applaud your classmates, and above all, appreciate the tremendous opportunities that we have here at East for music education. Many thanks to Mr. Keller, Mr. Weber, Ms. Gallagher, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Weber for all they do! 

On April 22nd Superintendent's Conference Day, East will be hosting the Citywide Band Concert in the Edward J Cavalier Auditorium. Rehearsals will take place during the day, and the concert will be held in the auditorium at 6pm that evening. 

The Spring Arts Celebration has been rescheduled to take place on Wednesday May 22nd at 6pm. All Lower and Upper ensembles are slated to perform. Please come and support our music scholars as well as our fantastic Art Department! Student work will be on display in the foyer and awards will be presented to scholars for their academic achievements in their respective ensembles. 

On June 5th and 6th, upper and lower ensembles will be competing at Seabreeze Music in the Parks! Field trip forms will be made available soon.
