Class overview
I meet with students in small groups during their reading class time. These groups may focus on foundational literacy skills like phonics and fluency, or support skills like vocabulary acquisition, writing, and comprehension.
I also teach a section of Focus/MTSS during 10th hour that gives students reading intervention and uses the iReady Reading and Math programs.

Graduating May 2027 with an M.S. Ed. Reading and Literacy from Illinois State University.
Licensed teacher in 6-12th grade English/ Language Arts
Married (14 years!) and have 3 daughters.
In my free time I like to... read, try making new recipes, visit family in Ohio, watch soccer, walk/ exercise.
