Download the ParentSquare app! This will be the easiest way to communicate without your message getting lost!
Please allow me around 24 hours to respond. If calling at school, I will only be available between 7:50 am - 4 pm most days. If I am in class, I may need to call you back during our next break or at the end of the day.
★ Please read and sign the lab safety contract ★
Safety is extremely important in a science classroom! We will be sending home a lab safety contract full of important rules to keep everyone safe during an experiment/lab. Students will NOT be allowed to participate in labs without a signed lab safety agreement.
Purposeful misbehavior regarding lab safety can result in alternate assignments for the safety of the rest of the class.
Please read through the lab safety contract with your student before signing!
Please be on time,
have your materials,
and start working on the bellringer on the board.
Unit 0 Slides: Intro and Rules/Expectations
Every assignment/lab/activity we do will have instructions projected on the board as well as either posted in google classroom or printed on a paper copy.
If you are absent or lost a copy, there will be a purple bin with all the extra paper copies.
The bell schedule will be printed on the board by the door. I plan on implementing an assignment calendar which will be posted in google classroom and attached here:
All science notebooks and workbooks should stay in my classroom. There will be a shelf for each class to stack their notebooks and their workbooks.
There is a new school-wide policy on grading.
