* The 4th science unit may be used to meet both the science and elective requirement.
** Students must complete three units in a pathway to complete a CTAE pathway and take an end of pathway assessment. Students interested in attending a University System of Georgia college/university must complete two years of the same foreign language to be admissible as a freshman.
***RCS offers a full credit of Government and Economics, which exceeds the State minimum 1/2 credit for each course. The additional 1/2 credit from each course from each course offered by RCS can satisfy the final 8th elective credit for the State of Georgia. Students who are prior to the class of 2026 will still only be required to have 3 history courses. History credits are the only change made regarding graduation requirements.
