Lewis--
Monday-Thursday: For homework students need to read aloud “Identity” by Julio Noboa with another family member at home a number of times, usually a few times each night. Family members are encouraged to listen to the student’s reading and provide praise and encouragement for the student’s efforts and accomplishments. Fluent readers (1) read aloud at an appropriate pace, (2) read words and punctuation accurately, (3) read with appropriate expression, and (4) understand what they are reading. We will be discussing how the poem relates to the novel Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. Thank you for your support.
Please have an adult sign the form each night as well as the student.
