The 2026-2027 FTC "BioBuzz" game will be released in September 12, 2026.
It’s way more than building robots. FIRST Tech Challenge teams (up to 15 team members, grades 6-12 nationally, 6-8 in Michigan) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.
Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.

All FTC teams are coached by parents and mentors. All FTC teams will practice out of Adams High School and Van Hoosen Middle School, on Mon/Weds or Tues/Thurs. They will also be leveraging AdamBots faculties, student mentors, and equipment.

"NEW" this year at Van Hoosen!!!
Open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders.
The VH Robotics FTC Club is an 8-week, hands-on after-school program designed to introduce students to FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics. Students will build, program, and operate real robots while learning engineering design principles, programming concepts, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
No prior experience is necessary! All skill levels are welcome.
Each FTC Robotics Club session is supported by experienced local FTC and AdamBots high school robotics team members, who will mentor the students, assist with troubleshooting, and share competition experiences. Additional support will be provided by experienced FTC coaches and teachers.
