Director

Christina Chapman is very excited to join the Choir team in Royse City ISD and continue the singing tradition that Mrs. Hall has established. She will begin her 24th year as a Choral Music Educator here at Summers. Mrs. Chapman holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree with an emphasis in Vocal Performance from The University of Texas at San Antonio and has worked on a Master’s of Music Education Degree from Texas Tech University.

She has also served the Texas Choral Directors Association as the Vice President of Middle School/Junior High Schools from 2017-2019. You'll find Christina working out with Camp Gladiator at 4:45am every morning and taking a few 5k or 10k runs through the year. She Loves reading, outdoors with her kids and attending LIVE concerts in the DFW area (most recently, Coldplay at The Cotton Bowl)

Mrs. Chapman has two boys, Aiden James 11 and Liam Spencer, 8, and they reside in Murphy, TX and are looking forward to meeting and knowing the Royse City ISD Community.
