Graphic Design

Prerequisite: None

Students will use technology to create their own personal artistic style through the creative process. The power of visual culture is explored and integrated into project work. The projects for this course will mainly include the methods of illustration and typography through the design process. Students will also explore various methods used to create and combine words, symbols, and images to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. Students will use the basic elements and principles of art and also learn how to use the computer programs Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
