Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) enables the Institute to give back and play a role in the community outside the corporate works. CSR activities include donation drives, tree-planting, and other activities to cater external clients, such as students, farming communities, and the general public.
These consist of the Institute’s visiting learners mostly students, both from private and public schools who are commonly interested in educational exposure at laboratories and museum; farmers from different regions and provinces who are after adapting up-to-date farm technologies; guests from partner agencies either government and non-government organizations who conducts benchmarking activities; the researchers and scientist collaborators who work hand-in-hand on various developmental studies and explorations; as well as the national and international leaders who craft and implement research-based policies related to rice industry.
