Entrepreneurs for Change offers an experiential learning opportunity for K-12 RCDSB students and classes. It empowers them to take part in a dynamic, student-led initiative with a strong focus on business, enabling them to acquire entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy skills, as well as nurturing innovative thinking and global competencies. Students and educators investigate social challenges, select a charitable cause to champion, and collaborate on establishing a social enterprise. Through this journey, students come to realize their role as global citizens and transformative forces capable of making a positive impact on the world.
Grade Eight students at Highview Public School have developed four social enterprises in support of local charities such as the St. Joseph's Community Food Bank, OSPCA, and Renfrew County United Way.
