Biography : Alok Kole is currently serving as Professor at the department of Electrical Engineering, RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata. He has started his career in Tata Steel, Central Engineering and Development division as a Sr. Officer from 1991 to 1996.Then he served in Bechtel, a world reputed engineering consultancy firm for the prestigious Enron Power Project more than three years.Then he served in another reputed MNC organization, General Electric (GE) Nuovo Pignone as the In-charge of power plant instrumentation and control in HPL Cogeneration Limited, Hadia from 1999 to 2001. He has also in served Mody University of Technology and Science as Professor more than 3 years and PCMT as Principal. He has also served in HIT, St.Thomas College of Engineering and Technology and The Neotia University as a senior faculty. His research interests include Machine learning, AI, Soft computing, Image Processing, Intelligent Control, IOT,Automation and Smart Grid. Dr. Kole has published three book chapters and more than 50 research articles in SCI & peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He is the Fellow of Institute of Engineers and Senior, Member of IEEE and ex.President of Institution’s Innovation Council. One Ph.D scholar is awarded under his supervision at IIT,Dhanbad. Presently he is guiding two Ph.D scholars.Dr Kole is an inventor of two Patents (One International and one National) in various Technology domains-Artificial Intelligence,Machine Learning,Wireless Communication.He is an editorial board members of International Journal of Business Intelligence and Data Mining, Inderscience, International Journal of Electronics Science, Technology and applications and Associate editor of International Journal of Intelligent Autonomous System. He is also the regular technical reviewer of different SCI journals like International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics, Springer, International Journal of Soft Computing, Springer, Internationals journal of Applied Soft Computing, Elsevier and International Journal of Business Intelligence and Data Mining, Inderscience. He also acted as the International Advisory board members of different International Conference and also served as conference chair in the International Conference on Intelligent Control Power and Instrumentation (ICICPI-2016) and TPC member of Indicon 2021.He is also the Adviser of Codedata Advanced Analytics Solutions Pvt.Ltd.
