St. John Bosco Catholic School is located in the heart of the Madawaska Valley in the town of Barry's Bay. The school is situated on 16 acres that includes a beautiful playground, an Outdoor Classroom, lush forests with incredible trails for cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing and also small streams.

Our Healthy Snack Program is supported by Renfrew County's Food For Learning program. Each month Mrs. Pecarski prepares the menu for healthy snacks. Parent volunteers prepare and deliver healthy snacks to classes every Wednesday.

Additionally, the funding helps to provide a variety of other school initiatives (e.g. Healthy Food Bin, etc.) and special events such as our Christmas Dinner.
