HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK  

1. 2026 Members’ Meeting - Will be held TODAY (Sunday, 1:00 PM) in the Building D Sanctuary. All members are welcome to attend to vote on the 2027 budget proposal, changes in elder and deacon membership, and other important matters.

2. Please prayerfully consider taking part in missions by filling out the 2027 Missions Faith Pledge Form.

3. Daylight Savings Time ends next Sunday.  Please remember to fall back an hour @2am Nov. 1, 2026.

COMING UP

1. Children's Ministry will host a Fall Fest on October 31. Join us from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Agape Parking Lot for a fun evening featuring bouncy houses, wiggle car racing, hot chocolate, games, prizes, and snacks! Parent supervision is required. Costumes are optional (nothing scary). Bring your family and friends for a joyful night of fellowship, laughter, and fall fun!  Please register HERE.

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

1. Operation Christmas Child is a project where we pack shoeboxes filled with necessities that are then shipped to children in need around the world. Through this outreach, we are able to spread the Gospel and create relationships with these children. We will be giving out packable cardboard shoeboxes after church on Sundays in Charis Lobby from 10:30-11:00am , and 12:15-1:00pm . The dates to pick up a shoebox are October 18, 25 and November 1, and the dates for collection of shoeboxes are November 1 ,8 & 15 . November 1 is both a pickup and collection date. In the box, you can include toys, school supplies, hygieneitems, clothes, and a personalized note to show that they are loved by God and us! Along with these items, please include $10 PER box for shipping, as well as a girl/boy label. Please remember to pack NEW items only. If you do not want to physically pack a box, there is also an option to pack an online shoeboxfor $30. For additional information, go to Samaritans Purse . 2. Community Leaf Raking: Come out on November 21 for Community Leaf-Raking and lend a hand to neighbors who could use extra support this fall! All ages and experience levels are welcome, so gather your family, friends, and community spirit. Sign up today to make a difference, meet fellow neighbors, and help spread Christ's love to the community. A light breakfast will be served. Sign up at LEAF RAKING.
