Only use valve oil only when your valves will not budge.
Oil your valves through the air holes at the bottom of the valves so that you do not have to take them out.
Hold/support the trumpet with your left hand and play it with your right. Push the valves straight down (not at an angle).
** If you cannot practice because the trumpet is too loud, here is a link to a trumpet practice mute. You can find one at a local music store or follow the link above.

Use your tongue to "Too" the notes as you buzz. Memorize E,F,G,D,C,A,B, F# and Bb. Use the Green box at the top of the page for fingerings.
