Insert the mouthpiece into the receiver.
Give the mouthpiece a TINY bit of pressure and a quarter twist - that’s it!
Remove it the opposite way with a quarter twist backwards & lift

Remember to hold/support the trumpet with your left hand and play it with your right. Push the valves straight down (not at an angle). Oil your valves through the air holes at the bottom of the valves so that you do not have to take them out.
Use your tongue to "Too" the notes as you buzz. Memorize E,F,G,D,C,A,B and Bb. Use the Green box at the top of the page for fingerings
