Professional Pet Groomer
Perform a full range of grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, and breed-specific or custom haircuts/styles.
Safely and effectively use all grooming tools and equipment, maintaining them in clean and sterile condition
Adhere to appointment schedules and ensure timely completion of grooming services.
Provide basic health checks during grooming and report any abnormalities (e.g., skin issues, lumps, parasites) to pet parents and the Facility Manager.
Prioritize the safety and well-being of pets at all times, minimizing stress and discomfort during the grooming process.
Consult with pet parents to understand their grooming preferences, address specific requests, and recommend appropriate services or products (including Bullpen Nutrition).
Maintain detailed client and pet grooming records using the Gingr software system.
Build rapport with clients, fostering trust and encouraging repeat business
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming workspace, including tubs, tables, and equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional pet grooming experience, with a strong portfolio of work (if available).
Certification from a recognized grooming academy is highly preferred.
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a flexible schedule. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle active dogs.
Proficiency with pet management software (Gingr experience a plus).

Bullpen Pets Kennel Attendant
Supervise dog playgroups in chain-link separated play areas, ensuring safe and positive interactions.
Monitor pet behavior, identify signs of stress, illness, or aggression, and report concerns immediately to the Manager.
Provide individual attention, comfort, and exercise to boarding dogs in their private, solid-sided kennels.
Feed and administer medications as directed, following strict portion and timing guidelines.
Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with confidence, patience, and a gentle approach.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the entire facility.
Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces daily using the Kaivac cleaning system and other appropriate tools.
Regularly clean and refill water bowls, ensure fresh bedding, and maintain a tidy environment.
Assist clients with check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Assist with retail sales of Bullpen Nutrition products and other merchandise.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with dogs in a professional setting (daycare, boarding, vet clinic, shelter, or similar).
Strong understanding of canine body language, group dynamics, and safe handling techniques.
Ability to proactively identify and address potential safety hazards or behavioral issues.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks required for animal care and cleaning.

Assistant Facility Manager
Assist the Founder in overseeing all daily operations, including daycare, boarding, grooming, and retail support.
Implement and ensure efficient staff scheduling, service delivery, and playgroup rotations.
Ensure consistent facility maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols, including effective use of the Kaivac cleaning system for kennels and play areas.
Monitor and maintain inventory for pet supplies, cleaning products, and Bullpen Nutrition retail, reporting needs to the Founder.
Enforce all Bullpen Pets policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations (e.g., NYS Ag & Markets kennel license requirements).
Interact directly with clients, assisting with inquiries, feedback, and service needs, ensuring a positive experience.
Manage client check-ins and check-outs, bookings, and account updates using the Gingr software system.
Provide facility tours and educate potential clients on Bullpen Pets services and our unique value proposition.
Assist with daily POS transactions, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation.
Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory or lead experience in a pet care facility (daycare, boarding, vet clinic, or similar).
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency with pet management software (Gingr experience a significant plus) and basic office software.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
