The Global Schools- Based Health Survey was designed to provide accurate data on health behaviors and protective factors among students, including dietary behaviors, hygiene, physical activity, drug and alcohol use, and violence and unintentional injury. It is often used to help countries develop priorities, establish programs, and advocate for resources for school health programs, policies, and youth health.

Sustainable Development Goals

Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions [SDG-16]

One of the most important goals of education in democratic, modern and developed countries is to educate individuals who are aware of their rights and who are able to use them effectively. Thus, students are expected to understand rights of others and the importance of respecting these rights while learning their rights. The students of Grade 8A have shared their awareness of justice through this video.

Global warming

About the Global warming,

The biggest mistake of a human

Is their thought

That someone else will start.

We will realise the importance of water,

When well will be dry,

Save every drop of it,

Atleast give a try.

The sun, moon, clouds and trees

Are all masterpieces of our nature,

But we humans are destroying it,

Creating a form of disaster.

Imagine you're the Earth,

People not letting you having peace,

Understand it's worth,

Before your chances to live, shall decrease.

The heat is trapped in Earth's atmosphere

Which slowly warms the Earth, it is felt,

In the portion of the Earth in which

Ice gradually starts to melt.

Do not let our Mother Earth regret,

That we live on it,

Please realise,

Understand a bit.

Vicious Climate

Climate!O Climate,

It is gods gift

Please don’t give it a shift.

It is God’s beautiful creation,

Saffron sun during the day ;

And alabaster coloured moon at night.

Climate!O Climate

It is Gods gift

Gods wonderful creation,

Bright in the morning and dark at night,

Orange at the dusk and bright at dawn,

Like a golden yellow corn.

Climate!O Climate

It is gods wonderful creation and its protection is in your hands.

Increasing temperature, unseasonal rains and extremely chilly nights.

Are the symptoms of our end,

Where environmentals contend;

To tell you the adverse effects of pollution and deforestation.

Climate!O Climate

Humans are responsible for spoiling gods wonderful creation.

Breaking down forests and cutting down trees for their appreciation.

Leading to their end, Increasing number of diseases because of climatic change.

Humans, the bright future is in your hands you will get what you reap.

So please stop such harmful activities that affect the climate.

Humans!O Humans

The growth of the world and its solution is in your hands;

Plant trees as much as you can,

Stop the polluting activities done by man.

Control industrial pollution by using natural gas and efficient equipments.

The only key solution to this problem is plant trees to keep the near future generation safe and live and

let live happily.

Drawing & DIY project i.e. phone cover

"Do it yourself" ("DIY") is the method of building, modifying, or repairing things by one’s own self without the aid of any professionals or expert. I believe in the age old saying ‘Practice makes a man perfect’. So,I designed my own phone covers. Keep making your own things till you reach perfection.

Someone’s Hope Someone’s Hero

Doctors all over the world are given the stature next to God.

It happens so mostly because they are lifesavers who work tirelessly for mankind. During this ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic the role of physicians and doctors who have been working round-the-clock in shifts and putting their own health in danger is worth saluting. The sacrifice that they are making for the safety and wellbeing of humanity is priceless and deserves lifelong gratitude on our end.

At RBK Grade 10 F celebrated “The National Doctor's Day" during their Moral Science period to acknowledge and appreciate the tireless work of the medical fraternity. It was a small gesture to honour all the doctors and the medical staff who have selflessly supported us in our time of need and worked tirelessly for us.

Dr.Suhas Kapse, shared his valuable inputs on health, well-being and managing oneself during the ongoing Pandemic.

The children were made aware about the safety measures one should take to fight Covid 19 and how physical activity and staying socially connected with friends and extended family can help cope with stress. The session was informative as it provided valuable insight into dealing and fighting the Covid 19 Pandemic.

I am Special.. I am Different…!

The Global Program is an initiative of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network in support of UNESCO’s Global Action Program on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This year RBK School has incorporated the Global School Program in our School Curriculum.

These activities will help the students to develop cognitive, affective and sensory domains. It will also develop a sense of responsibility to become a global citizen. The first topic for the students of Grade 1 was Who am I? What makes me healthy and happy? Students had to record a video of themselves wherein they had to introduce themselves (name, age, school etc.) and talk about the things that make them special and different from others (habits, hobbies, talents). Active participation from the students was seen as many videos were uploaded on the seesaw platform. Students were excited and enthusiastic in their recorded video.

The students of Grade 2 were assigned an activity in which they had to dress up in their traditional attire and also take a picture of themselves holding their traditional food and speaking two lines about their attire and food. Students uploaded amazing and beautiful pictures and videos.

Children need many opportunities to learn about shapes. Learning to identify and understand what the different shapes are, as well as their parts are important concepts. Each day children are exposed to shapes in their environment.

One of our talented and creative student Ms Nibodhita Mishra from Grade 3 Div. G utilises her imagination and used some geometrical shapes to create a very interesting Crab pattern during her leisure time.

Secrets for Academic Success

Workshop on “Secrets for Academic Success” was conducted by the counsellors Ms.Poorva , Ms.Rinku and Ms.Linet on 3rd July, 2021 for students of Grade 4. Addressing the parents, the counsellors discussed the various activities and food habits that will help the students to increase their concentration and inculcate the necessary qualities to attain success in life. Certain tips for increased concentration were suggested such as the importance of healthy breakfast, use of colourful pens, giving a personal touch to a story or lesson, use of camphor and mint leaves, and sufficient water intake. They shared activities and games which would reduce the stress and pressure students experience. The whole idea was to make parents aware how their wards can concentrate more on their work and at the same time enjoy and feel rejuvenated. Parents enjoyed and appreciated the session.
