It is said that, ‘Being an artist is the same as being a wizard, only instead of a wand you use a pencil for your imagination’.
Students of Grade 3 drew beautiful pieces of art and used amazing colours to give their art a final touch. The pictures of their art work were posted on the seesaw app.

A palette knife is a blunt tool used for mixing or applying paint, with a flexible steel blade. It is primarily used for applying paint, usually heavy body acrylic paint, to the canvas, mixing paint colours, adding texture to the painted surface, etc. Here’s a painting made with the help of palette knives for our class Art assignment.

When the online classes began in June 2020, we were quite apprehensive as to how we would have our classes online. Now at the end of the fruitful academic year of online class, we realise that we did well. Deep inside me, I think I like the online classes too as my regular class.
You would agree with me when I say that any student would like online classes. One can attend the classes even if he or she is unwell; without harming oneself and others. One may attend their class while travelling. There is no tension of getting up early in the morning and there may be many more reasons.
On second thought, I feel, students would dislike online classes as they cannot go out to play with their classmates.
Trust me, I like my online class (VII - I). We can come online, study and be safe too. When we see this pandemic spreading its fatal web and people fighting for their lives, we feel that it is safe to be at home. Though I used to enjoy the trip from home to school and back, I like online classes better as we can attend our classes in the comfort of our home.
In fact, we learnt so many things. The utilization of allotted time for each subject was remarkable. The project assessments were conducted; we could see that all the projects were mostly paperless. We mastered the skills in PowerPoint presentations. We were also given ‘Home Assignments’ and notes to write, which I used to complete diligently, as in the regular classes.
As we all are tech savvy, there were many extraordinary experiments that we tried. According to me, the students of my class, VII-I, are experts with their cameras. Some of us learnt how to blur the background or put a virtual background while others learnt how to zoom in and zoom out the camera. To my amusement, I have even seen my classmates changing their colour like a chameleon by altering the settings!
Since I am accustomed to attending the physical school, I still think that though we enjoy our online classes, the situation should come back to normal and we should be able to attend our regular classes once again.
I pray for the well-being of everyone.
God bless my school
