Medley of Activities

GRADE V - FRENCH


Students of Grade V showcased their writing skills by describing "MY FAMILY'.

This activity was done to enhance their vocabulary.  They learnt grammar rules and also sentence formation practice was done during this activity.

GRADE  VII - SCIENCE


A well-balanced diet provides energy we need to keep ourseleves active throughout the day. It provides much needed nutrients for growth and to stay strong and healthy. 


During Christmas break grade VII learners did an amazing activity by consuming only healthy food on one chosen day. They also gave presentation on healthy diet and brought a picture of healthy food/vegetable they consumed.

RBKIS conducted Check Point Pre Board 1 for Grade V and VIII. 

IAYP -Community Service


The United Nations recognizes World Day of social justice on 20 February every year, 


The 2023 theme is overcoming barriers and unleashing opportunities for social justice 


On this note,

 RBK International school along with Rotaract Club of Northern Suburbs conducted a seminar on Women Empowerment for empowering the one who gave us all the prowess.

CAREER COUNSELLING 


Research and development and collecting authentic data is important in learning. Students were engaged in group career counselling project to enable-

The students learn a new way to approach their career & college exploration and decision-making process. 


To Bring careers and colleges alive for high school students.

Thus developing a counselling laboratory for the school.


CIALFO - ORIENTATION 


RBKIS has conducted CIALFO orientation for progressive parents to understand how to use the CIALFO platform for finding  the right fit university (College search and exploring courses).

CHOIR IN ASSEMBLY


RBKIS learners from Grade I - VIII perfromed the songs learned during the Music  Sessions in  the School Assembly which boosted their confidence and they sang in unison. 

ART PANORAM

 An art exhibition is the chance to get inspired. 

RBKIS learners of Primary and lower Secondary 

get exposed to different artists' works and

understood their thought processes. 

They were exposed to new perspectives and have given the 

opportunity to view the world like never before. 

This provides inspiration to do something revolutionary.  

FIELD TRIP- ART EXHIBITION            

Grade IX art and design students have visited to a group art exhibition (IKKATHHA) and have interviewed few local artists 

and got the information about their style technique and theme.

CULMINATION

          (SPEECH AND DRAMA)               

Culminating activities help to demonstrate the advanced abilities that the child has developed in relation to master 

their subjects and for the same purpose Grade III, IV & VI students celebrated Speech and Drama “Culmination day” 

and heartily welcomed everybody. 

The learners dressed up in their characters and performed monologue, puppet show, role play, mime, 

movement to music, dance and music. Its a way to recapitalize the curriculum taught to them. 

We were so proud and surprised that the learners performed  so effortlessly & with confidence. 

TRACE THE FACE 

          (Art activity)               

 Portraits are a great way to get students thinking about art and about themselves.

 Grade VII have explored different media to create portraits of them or their friends.

RADIO JOCKEY DAY

               Radio continues to be one of the most trusted and accessible media in the world. 

Radio is uniquely positioned to bring communities together and foster positive dialogue for change.

RBKIS celebrated Radio Jockey Day with yet another opportunity for all the learners of Grade I - IV, VI & VII to showcase their speaking skills by being a Radio Jockey (RJ) on Friday, 10th February, 2023

Learners developed voice modulation, clear pronunciation,language fluency and good sense of humour.

SKATING

Ms. Addina Shah of Grade III-B bagged 2 gold medal in long and Short race in skating in Mission Olympics National Championship 2023 held at Khopoli.  

TRINITY  

Mst. Shuban Naik from Grade 9 A has completed Level 1 of Training in Electronic Keyboard and has been awarded, certificate of merit. 

Awareness sessions

                   “ Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness”- James Thurber

This month awareness sessions were held from Grade VI to IX. Several relatable topics were addressed namely Bullying, Learning styles and Growth mindset. The learners expressed that they found the topics extremely relatable. They were attentive, intrigued, shared their personal experiences, sought clarification for their doubts and looked for resolutions for challenges faced by them in the classroom and at a personal level.

WORKSHOP 

RBKIS organized  workshops in association with AYEKSHA on Safe and Unsafe touch for Grade I & II, Healthy Life Style for Grade III & IV & Age of Adolescence for Grade V & VI.

           The objective of these workshops was to increase awareness amongst learners to enable them to stay safe, make informed decisions and to promote safe living at home, school and in the community.
