These individuals, known as community helpers, play an integral role in our daily lives by providing essential services and support. For students, understanding the significance of these helpers not only expands their knowledge but also fosters a sense of appreciation and respect for the people who make our society function smoothly.


Educating students about community helpers instills values of empathy, gratitude, and civic responsibility. It helps them understand that everyone has a role to play in creating a harmonious society.


In conclusion, community helpers are the pillars of our society, working diligently behind the scenes to ensure our safety, health, and overall well-being. Understanding their roles and appreciating their efforts is an essential lesson for students, as it fosters respect, empathy, and a sense of responsibility towards the community they are a part of.

  LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS @ NURSERY PLAY AREA 

Learners had fun playing in the ball pool during their free play. 
This play helps in getting along, taking turns and developing social skills. 

 BUTTON AND UNBUTTON 

The learners were taken through the theme rooms in my house where they had to identify the various places in their homes and name them.  To make the activity more complex they were given shirts to button and unbutton.  They were made to pack and unpack their school bags and label various objects that can be packed.  This activity was followed by solving a worksheet where they had to identify objects kept in the bathroom,

After learning about 'Rooms in the House'. Children were shown pictures, charts and books about their  surroundings outside their house like playground, flower garden, hospital, fire brigade and florist. To make the learning more interesting the learners were taken to Nature's Basket for a field trip.

                STREAM  


Learners learnt about sources of light and explored how shadows were formed with the help of a torch  light.  The learners were also taught the size of the shadow changes according to the light.

    MATH - SORTING 

Learners were given pom pom balls and tweezers to pick out and count them while placing them into a jar. 

LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS 

@ GRADE K  1  ENGLISH  LETTER Hh

The learners practiced the letters on the black board  and were made to colour the objects of the letter Hh in  their workbooks. 

       @GRADE K 1 - MATH NUMERALS

Learners learnt the formation of the numeral nineteen with the help of clay molding and traced numerals in their books with the help of pencils demonstrating the patterns and curves of the number. 

  LITERATURE CIRCLE @ GRADE K 1 -  LETTER Mm

Learners were reading, recognizing, tracing and writing the letter Mm  on the board using various tools for writing. Learners were given books to practice the letter with appropriate formations and name objets that begin with the letter Mm.

                                                                 THEME 

Learners reviewed different kinds of community helpers to make the lesson interesting they solved a puzzled path in the worksheet by helping the baker prepare the muffin. 

 LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS @ GRADE K 2 

ENGLISH  - THREE LETTER WORD

After reading and listening to  the sounds of the letters , learners were taken through  a worksheet to comprehend letters to make words and enhance their vocabulary. 

                                                      K 2    STREAM - SHADOWS

Learners discovered about how the light passes through  transparent object and how the light does not pass through opaque objects and makes a shadow below it. The learners were encouraged to place the flash light at various places such as top, back, front, side of the object and see the differences in the shadow. 

       MATH - BACKWARD COUNTING & MISSING NUMBERS

In math learners were taught how to sequence the ten digit numbers and to count backwards with the help of  a board game followed by a worksheet to reinforce the topic. 

K 2 - NATIONAL HANDLOOM DAY

On 7th August, learners honoured the hand loom weavers by weaving wool onto a  paper plate to create various designs . They also experienced different cloth art through an exhibition.  

K2 - SHOW AND TELL

Various indoor games were brought by learners to the class to  express the importance of playing  . They introduced how to play indoor games.
