Women' s Day Special Edition

I am woman, I am fearless

I am classy, I am modern,

I live by my own design

I am earthly, I am heaven

I am what I like to be

May this be a reminder to all the fearless woman out there to grow more determined, stronger and capable of moving the mountains if required. There is no force more powerful than a woman's determination to rise.

The theme for International Women's Day, 2022, focuses on women in the context of climate change:

"Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow"

80% of people displaced by climate change and climate related disasters are women and girls so it is crucial that sustainability and gender equality efforts globally go hand-in-hand. It is important to celebrate and highlight the empowered woman around the globe and their sustainability initiatives to empower more women and girls to become equal players in the decision-making related to climate change. Without gender equality today, a sustainable and equal future remains beyond our reach.

How can we empower our children as mothers?

Mothers are considered as the first teacher for a child and so it is our responsibility as a mother to empower our children right from childhood to be a better person. Here are few things you can say which will definitely have an impact in their way of thinking................Mothers kindly take notes..............

Take a break from saying

🔻

Be good today!

Instead Say

🔻

I want you to know that I love you no matter what.

Take a break from saying

🔻

You look so pretty in that dress !

Instead Say

🔻

You are absolutely beautiful inside out!

Take a break from saying

🔻

I will talk to that girl's Mom, it's not okay for her to treat you like that.

Instead Say

🔻

You are strong and you've got this! I'm here to support you.

Take a break from saying

🔻

Oh, don't cry…it's okay honey, don't worry about it, everything is fine.

Instead Say

🔻

How did you feel when that happened?

Take a break from saying

🔻

Stop being mean, I refuse to raise a mean girl.

Instead Say

🔻

How can you be a light in this situation and use your kindness to solve the problem?

Take a break from saying

🔻

Why can't you just listen, you always push back on rules.

Instead Say

🔻

You were gifted with a strong desire to feel powerful and that will make you an incredible leader. You need to practice expressing yourself with respect.

Take a break from saying

🔻

Stop complaining about it, they'll never change.

Instead Say

🔻

How will you be the change you wish to see?

RBKGS celebrates Women's Day

Women's Day is celebrated every year on 8th of March to celebrate womanhood which is a global celebration dedicated to uplifting women and honoring their achievements.

We at RBK Global couldn't wait to celebrate this auspicious occasion and kicked it off early this year on 5th March 2022. Parents and children attended it in full swing with many stalls to offer and enwind. We had guest speakers like Ms. Payal Sinha who is a skilled Clinical Nutritionist with over 10 years of experience with solid academic background and is associated with RBKEI Schools as Lead Nutritionist, along with Ms Varsha Singh who is a Social worker and a motivational speaker who beautified the event with her inspirational lines about the health and holistic development of women.

We had stalls to keep the audience entertained. Building a glass tower, Concentrate and focus, Joy Box, Linguistic, Paper dance, Floral Creativity, Chocolate Fantasy, Nail Art. Artifact jewellery, Fabric jewellery, Childhood fantasy, Laughing Club, Musical Chair, and Soupy Salad. The crowd heartily enjoyed their time chilling with their folks. Here's a glance .......

In need of help?

We are all entitled to human rights. These include the right to live free from violence and discrimination; to enjoy the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health; to be educated; to own property; to vote; and to earn an equal wage.

But across the globe many women and girls still face discrimination on the basis of sex and gender. Gender inequality underpins many problems which disproportionately affect women and girls, such as domestic and sexual violence, lower pay, lack of access to education, and inadequate healthcare.

So if you feel the need to address any injustice or any emergency we would like you to take the help of someone you trust and believe in yourself.

$ Financial Independence $

For women to feel financially secure, they have to understand the term ‘Financial Independence’, which is about deciding what to do with their money. This awareness can help women to not just save money but also invest in various financial instruments.women are not just the stronger but also the superior half of our species. Being financially free generally means reaching a life stage where your financial assets are sufficient enough to allow you to not work just for earning money. But financial independence for women means something different. And a lot more than just having enough money in the future. It can be about having the independence to earn and manage their own money in the present itself. At times, it’s more about having economic independence in the present and not just the so-called financial independence in the future.

“We all need people who will give us feedback. That’s how we improve.”

So, presenting some inspiring and motivating feedback for our lovely parents. Thank you for your kind words of gratification.

Respected Principal Mam,

I am the parent of Riddhima Deshmukh studying in Grade 1- Ekam in your school.

I wanted to congratulate you all teaching & non teaching staff as well as the students who were part of organizing such a wonderful Women's Day Celebration event.

We felt it was very refreshing & took a long walk back in memory lane when we saw our child playing the games which we used to play during our own childhood.

I would sincerely like to say that all the hard work done by you all was evident by the fact that not only kids but their parents also took part in every activity on each stall, so hats off to all teachers along with the secondary standards students who took a lot of effort in making this event successful.

Be it dancing on instructions or doing the hook steps of famous bollywood numbers was very fun or the thoughts shared by some of the speakers was also very encouraging and not to forget the mother kid twinning ramp walk event was undoubtedly the showstopper part of the celebration.

Special thanks to you Principal mam who is in the heart of organizing such events.

Last but not the least I would request you to convey our greetings to each member(teaching, non- teaching staff & volunteer students) who was behind making the event a huge success including the housekeeping staff.

Thanks for having us & making our evening so special!!!

Regards,

Radhika Deshmukh
