PUMPKINFEST 2022

Welcome to our big idea.

We are a group of fifteen eighth graders and eight seventh graders from Edgewood Junior High School, who are trying to bring the community together. In this spirit, we will be hosting the 2nd annual Pumpkinfest. We hope to make this a tradition that will continue for many years to come.

Pumpkinfest 2022 will be held on October 29, 2022, from 5pm-9pm and will include the following.

Contests: Costume, Pumpkin Derby, Trunk or Treat, and Jack O Lantern. Trophies/Ribbons awarded.
Games: Support RBB organizations by playing their games. Purchase tickets at the ticket booth (cash only).
Food: Support RBB organizations by enjoying their food. Many options to choose from (cash only)

Up-coming Events

Jack -O-Lantern Carving Contest

In honor of the pumpkin spirit, we will be hosting a jack-o-lantern carving contest. All entries will need to be turned in on October 29th, in order to be featured in the pumpkin trail.

Costume Contest

Make sure to show up in your best costume, for a chance to win the costume contest. Winners will be announced on October 29th at Pumpkinfest.

Pumpkin Derby

Pumpkinfest is all about pumpkins, so we will be hosting a pumpkin derby. All entries will need to be turned in by October. If you have any questions, please email rrwooden@rbbschools.net. All entries will race on October 29th at Pumpkinfest to determine the winner.

Trunk-or-Treating

Since Halloween is coming up, we wanted to incorporate trick or treating into Pumpkinfest, but with a little twist. October 29 5:00-7:00pm, we will have trunk-or-treating set up in the parking lot. If you would like to reserve a spot please use this sign up link. Also, there are trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places!

We have an assortment of items left over from the auction and will be auctioning them off on the evening of the 29th, at Pumpkinfest. The auction will start at

Games

For more fun, we will have a variety of games and prizes. Here is a list of the vendors and what they will be vending. The cost to play is one ticket per game. Tickets will be on sale on October 29th for $.50 per ticket. All proceeds will go to support our community partners.

Pumpkin Trail

The Pumpkin Trail will be returning again this year. All pumpkins on display are contestants of the Pumpkin Carving Contest. Look out for the winners, displayed with ribbons.
