Concert Bands

The concert groups are the core of the EJHS Music Department.

Here, students learn the basic and advanced techniques that will carry over to Jazz Band, as well as those students who move on into high school music.

EJHS Band is made up of 6th Grade Beginning Band (split across a brass and a woodwind/percussion class), 7th Grade/Intermediate Concert Band, and Accelerated Band. Accelerated Band is made up of 8th graders and select 7th graders ready for the challenge of more difficult music.
