My name is Marissa Romero and I am the director of bands at Raytown South Middle School, assistant director, and director of percussion at Raytown South High School. I am originally from the Dallas, Texas area and am a graduate of The University of Missouri where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Music with an emphasis in Education. My Masters Degree is in Curriculum and Instruction from Northwest Missouri State University. Currently, I stay active in music by playing in community bands in the Kansas City area. My name is Erin Johnson and I am the director of bands at Raytown South High School and assistant director at Raytown South Middle School. I graduated with honors from the University of Kansas with my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. I continue to find joy playing my instrument in Free State Brass Band as the solo euphonium player alongside my mom and sister and many friends and colleagues. In my free time I love to visit national parks, spend time with my family, and watch movies.
