About Ms. Koechner

I am so excited to be working with your child this year! This will be my 11^th year teaching and my 3rd year at Southwood! Prior to coming to Southwood Elementary, I taught 1st grade and kindergarten at Raytown's Spring Valley Elementary, 1st grade in the Sedalia #200 School District, and 3rd grade at a parochial school in my hometown. I currently live in Independence with my boyfriend Wes, and our daughter Brynlee. I am originally from a very small town in Mid-Missouri called Tipton. This is where my parents and the rest of my family resides. I am the oldest of two sisters and I have a niece and nephew who I love spending time with.
