Mr. Giddens

Hello, my name is Mr. Giddens and this is my fifth year teaching. When I was a child, I had a special interest in science and I was always looking forward to performing science experiments in class. This passion followed me all the way to college where I decided to share my love for science with middle school students. I believe middle school is a crucial time for kids to discover their individuality.

I was born and raised in Raytown and graduated from Raytown South High School. I was a very active member of the Boy Scouts of America and I acquired the Eagle Scout rank. I went to the University of Central Missouri where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Science and Education.

In my family, I am the youngest of nine children. As a result, I now have several wonderful nieces and nephews. My hobbies include fishing, camping, hiking and kayaking. When I am not outdoors, I can be found at the gym, reading a book, or watching movies.
