THE LEGACY

Thirty years ago, Shri. R. Antony Francis, a hardworking entrepreneur, initiated the ROMAA GROUP OF COMPANIES in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. After three decades in business, the company amassed a sizable base of loyal customers.

The group’s essential skills and strength were founded on quality, hard work, and prompt service, earning it a name in the sectors of cement, steel, solid blocks, aggregates, and construction materials, provided to metal quarries, delivering high-quality aggregates.

Our Romaa Housing division earned a significant position in the real estate market through the timely completion of gated community developments and premium quality flats when the firm began producing ready-mix concrete in 2006.

MEET OUR TEAM

R. ANTONY FRANCIS, (FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN)

In 1970 set up a trading company in Chennai dealing with construction materials. Became dealers for major brands of cement & steel in 1980. In 2005 commissioned an RMC plant at Senneerkuppam Chennai when infrastructure developments were at the peak in Chennai & Tamilnadu. Between 2006 & 2011 commissioned 6 RMC plants, 4 at Chennai & 2 units at South of Tamilnadu at Tirunelveli & Madurai.

R. GLASTINRAJ, (VICE CHAIRMAN)

He takes care of rolling stocks, inventory of machinery, vehicles, equipment, and other assets, monitors tax payments, Insurance and other statuary payouts about assets. He is also instrumental in the development of the group’s business.

R. MARIA ALASU RAJAN, (MANAGING DIRECTOR & CEO)

He is a postgraduate in the discipline of MBA. He is instrumental in setting up RMC plants – He has traveled to Singapore, Gulf, and other countries to study the latest technological developments in the construction industry and execution of Infra projects overseas. He is vigilant on quality control, customer satisfaction, brand building and market development activities through a competent team.

A. ANTONY FEROZ RAJA SHELTON, (DIRECTOR)

He is a dynamic member of the board, having a commerce degree from Loyola, Chennai. Diploma in international business from Singapore and Diploma in Audio Visual Communication. He is fluent in many languages including French and Japanese. Also certified as an auditor from TUV for also ISO. With the latest talent, He is Developing RMC Industry and keeping it at the top in and around Chennai with the best Quality and Service. Also, He is interested in developing Geopolymer concrete technology in RMC Industry and Lafarge permiable concrete technology.

G. ANTONY SACHIN RAJA, (DIRECTOR)

Mr. Antony Sachin Raja is a qualified Engineer, who graduated B.E., Civil Engineering from Panimalar College of Engineering. He has also done post-graduation in Construction Project Management (CPM). During his studies, he has undergone intensive training at our various batching plants and gained a thorough knowledge of building materials like steel, cement & Concrete. Mr. Sachin Raja is young, dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative in the field of Civil Engineering and has achieved marvelous results in the business. He is heading the following units of the AGR Group of companies.

R. ANTONY RENALTON RAJA, (DIRECTOR)

A Bouncing and Enthusiastic Member in our board having finished his bachelor architect from SRM University. He has extended our network of contacts from large builders to the next tier of government contractors. He has created a notable presence in infrastructure segment with timely completion of technically complex and high value projects across India.
