Dear Families,

Welcome to Autunm term 1, Year 1 2025/26! 

We are so excited to start this new school year and look forward to a wonderful journey of learning and discovery with all the children.

Reading Morning

Reading morning is on Wednesdays  from 8:40-9:00. You are all welcome to stay and share a book with your child in the classroom.

P.E

PE kits must consist of a white T-shirt, black shorts or joggers and black plimsolls or trainers and they need to be left in school all the time. PE kits can be taken home at half term. 

PE Days

1A- Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays ( alternate weeks)

1B- Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays ( alternate weeks)

Show and Tell

As part of a way for children to learn to present to others, we encourage a show and tell. This could be something a child chooses to bring in from home to share. It could also be a dance, song or showcase a particular talent. We encourage children to speak in sentences that flow. Please support your child to prepare what they want to show.

1A show and tell is on a Wednesday

1B show and tell is on a Friday 

Each child will have a turn to do this so please do not bring anything in if it is not your turn.
