Reading Mornings:

Reading morning will resume after half-term on Wednesday 30th October 2024 from 8:40-9:00am.

Please do come to our Reading Morning sessions to read with your child. The children are encouraged to read to an adult at home daily.  Each time the children have finished reading a book, they are encouraged to complete a reading comprehension quiz, using Accelerated Reader online in school.  

P.E

2A - Monday and Friday 

2B - Monday and Thursday 

Please ensure your child has a white t-shirt, black shorts or jogging bottoms and black plimsolls or trainers in their P.E bag. 

Homework

Homework will be set on a Friday and due the following Wednesday. 

Trips

Year 2 will be visiting Higham Hill Library on Thursday 10th October. Please follow the link below if you would like your child to have a library card. They will need their library card on the day and the permission slip returned to their class teacher to borrow books.
