Building - large and small scale!
PANT-OSAURUS
We compared the size of our feet with the size of a dinosaur's foot. We fitted 22 of our shoes on top of one dino's foot!
Christmas in the Nursery!🎄
We used paper from the recycling bin to do our handprints on.
We joined the handprints to the holly wreath circle.
Holly! We used green wool to thread our cardboard leaves.
Our decorations for the school hall. We have tried to re-use materials such as cardboard boxes and paper that we found in the recycling bin rather than buting new materials.
Remembrance Day
Our poppy pictures in the style of Georgia O'Keefe and Van Gogh
Sharing our learning with others around school
Look at the artwork we shared after reading the story The Dot by Peter Reynolds
Just make a mark and see where it takes you...
As we learned about different parts of our bodies, we looked at the best parts of us and talked about what is so special about them.
Our interpretations of Michael Bolus' work:
Autumn🍂Everyday our friends have brought in beautiful, coloured leaves. We have been looking for signs of autumn around school.
Look at our learning!
Autumn wands made from leaves we gathered in the garden.
Observational paintings from the leaves our friends gathered.
We used different materials to make the wings and had to learn to join.
Diwali
We made diva lamps to go in our home corner. Some of our friends made their own Ravana - he had 10 heads! We had to learn how to join so that we could fit all of the heads together.
Black History Month 2025
We learned the song 'I wish I knew how it would feel to be free' and performed it to our school community.
Fireworks!
We used Skittles sweets and dropped water onto them. We thought that they might go fizzy but look what happened!
