Dear Parents / Carers,

Happy New Year and we hope you all had a good winter break.

This half term Class 3 & 4 will be studying:

Science: Forces and Friction

DT: Making Musical Instruments

PE: Dodgeball and Gymnastics

History: Tudors

ICT: Game Creator 

Please make sure your child has a PE kit (with a change of footwear and clearly labelled with their names) in school on PE days- Class 3: Monday and For  Class 4: Monday and Friday

Please also ensure that children are completing homework to a high standard. A reminder that English homework is given out on a Monday, due in on Wednesday. Maths homework is given out on a Wednesday, due in on Friday. Children are aware of the expectations and so please give them a gentle reminder to complete homework appropriately. Children are also required to read every day for at least 15 minutes- please encourage them to do so.

Children who have yet to complete all of their timetables up to 12 should also be practising their relevant table at home.

Class 3 will receive spellings on a Friday and will be tested on these the following Friday.

Class 4 will receive spellings on a Wednesday and will be tested on these the following Tuesday.
