Our children have had an excellent last half-term, settling into their learning well and undertaking their new themes. This term we will be gearing up towards our Christmas activities, and some early dates and details follow at the bottom of the newsletter. We will also be holding our parent's meetings this term, which will take place in late November. We will be providing information about this shortly and we hope you will be available to discuss your child's progress.
A massive well done to Y5/6 boys and girls who represented us at the Rotherham Tag Rugby School Games festival recently. They overcame all of their opponents and succeeded in winning the championship! As a result, they will now play in the South Yorkshire finals against the winning schools from these championships.
The children showed brilliant teamwork and awareness of their team-mates and the situation against different sides, as well as showing great character across their 8 ganes. They were particular heroes in the final two games, which were both completed in torrential rain! Well done Sandhill!
We recently emailed all parents a feedback survey to help us understand what we are doing well at and which areas we need to develop. If you have not had chance to complete it yet, the survey is still open and can be found at:

We were delighted with how many children either spent or saved up their attendance coins just before half-term! Remember, every full week of attendance earns them a coin, and a full week of arriving on time earns them a further coin! We will continue to develop and refine our rewards and ideas based on children's feedback. We are certainly seeing an impact so far on attendance through school - thankyou for your support!!
93.44% (On an upward trend - keep it up!)
Highest attendance: Miss Charles' class on 96%!
Please ensure your child is as punctual as possible in attending school, as key learning begins straight away and we do not want any child to miss out on this!
