As we prepare for the end of year break, we'd like to offer our thanks to all our children, parents and staff members for a productive and hard-working year. We have been proud to see how our children have developed and grown this year, particularly as we have been able to return to a more normal curriculum as the year has gone on.
We'd like to wish all our children, families and staff a restful and wonderful summer break and will see you all in September. Keep an eye out for a further newsletter which will detail key information next year around uniform, attendance and punctuality and our communication process from when we return.
A reminder to all parents that any outstanding debts (dinner money, breakfast club etc) needs to be paid before we finish for this academic year on Weds 20th July.
We will not be able to offer any breakfast club or after school club provision to any family who has not yet ensured they are in balance. Thankyou for your understanding
We would like to extend our thanks and best wishes to Mrs Maggie Saltis, our Chair of Governors and a long-time supporter of our school. Mrs Saltis will be looking forward to a well-earned retirement this summer! Throughout her term in office, Maggie has enjoyed being part of seeing the school and its children developing, as well as supporting the school's drive to improve standards.
She will be very much missed and we want to place on record our thanks and appreciation for all she has done. Best wishes for the future Maggie!
We recently had the staff from the 'Icansavealife' organisation, who are partnering Wickersley Partnership Trust to deliver first aid lessons to all children. It was fantastic to see even the youngest children learn important information to help keep them and others safe. The children will continue their learning next year, helping them develop and progress their first aid understanding through school. Thanks to the staff involved!
87.7% (We really need a big push towards the end of term to increase this!)
Highest attendance: Mrs May's and Mr Law's class with 94.2%!
Please ensure your child is as punctual as possible in attending school, as key learning begins straight away and we do not want any child to miss out on this!
