Combined Science

Each week you will spend at least 2 hours revising science. This may be in addition to your science homework.  This revision time can be broken down into smaller chunks, but it all must be completed.  

To support this revision you could use the following revision guide or BBC Bitesize.  These revision guides are available on Parent Pay.

Weekly Revision Homework Assignment

To complete your homework you will need the following equipment: 

• Revision guide

• Revision Folder (will be given a folder in lesson)

• Exam equipment - pen, pencil, ruler, calculator

Revision Task Instructions

Your tasks will vary weekly - see the calendar below

• Revision Guide Worksheets - Complete the worksheet using your revision guide, or online resources listed in the classroom. 

• Video and questions - Watch the video in google classrooms and answer the questions

• Video and Mindmap - Watch the video in google classroom and complete the mindmap

• Practice Questions

Other helpful revision resources and strategies: 

• Make flashcards for all keywords. The keyword on one side, the definition on the other. Use them to quiz yourself (or your friends)

• Take Cornell Notes when watching videos or reviewing your notes.  Follow the format exactly.
