Your aim for this activity is to use the places you chose last week in your Maths Around the World to create a virtual tour using Google Tour Builder tourbuilder.withgoogle.com
If you have forgotten how to do it, go to Mark’s slideshow on the Tane Mahuta site ➜ Cybersmart ➜ Smartfootprint
For each destination (place) you go to you have to include these things:
- A description that has at least 5 INTERESTING FACTS that could be about places to go, what they eat, the people.
- At least 5 PHOTOS that match your facts.
- See if you and your partner can find a video and insert it into your tour.

Your challenge today:
- Plan a round the world trip that begins in Christchurch and ends in Christchurch.
- You may travel a maximum of 30000km.
- You must make a minimum of 2 stops in foreign countries.
- Plan at least 3 creative itineraries writing down the total distances travelled.
THEN:
- Choose 1 of your options. Research flight prices and workout how much the trip will cost.

- Begin researching your chosen destinations. What might people like to do when they visit?
