Tāku Kainga

This waiata was written by Matua Travis and gifted to Rāwhiti School. It tells the whakapapa of Rāwhiti School and how it has become a 2nd home for ākonga and kaiako  alike. Matua Travis's only hope is that as we all move through our learning journey's, this waiata will always remind us of Rāwhiti School. The actions to this waiata were made by the Senior Kapahaka tamariki, 2023.

E te tau

E Te Tau

Mātua Travis learnt this waiata from another kapahaka tutor Haoni Haimana, "No Te Arawa ia". Matua Haoni spoke of the waiata being a love song from Te Arawa. The waiata speaks about the singer calling out to another and asking them to turn and see how much their love means to them.  The actions are being performed by Matua Travis's youngest daughter Charlotte.
