我从小就跟我的家人说中文，可是我认识到我的中文比其他人差。我继续学中文是为了和我的祖父母说话。用普通话说话和听别人说话从来都不难，但是我不太会读和写中文。希望将来我和老师们一起提高我的阅读和写作能力。我很感谢刘老师、以前的中文老师、和姥姥教我中文。没有你们，我就没有勇气在这里。我希望上完高中能流利地用中文。
Even as a child I spoke mandarin among my family members, but I realized my mandarin was inferior compared to everyone else. I continued learning chinese in order to speak to my grandparents. Listening and speaking mandarin has never been difficult for me, but I have difficulties reading and writing mandarin. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to improve my disadvantages alongside my teachers. I'm so thankful for Mrs. Liu and every teacher I've had before her for teaching me mandarin, without them I wouldn't be where I am now. When I finish highschool, I wish to be able to apply what I learned at Ravenscroft to real life scenarios.
