Reflection

During my time at Ravenscroft School, I have faced many challenges and triumphs as a Mandarin student. Beginning in 6th grade, I fell in love with the language and culture. I embraced the difficult nature of this course and enjoyed its many lessons. From exams to making dumplings, festivals to markets, and teacher to teacher, I tried my hardest to enrich the learning experience. This course has shaped me into the student and person that I am today. I look forward to what comes next in my high school journey, with an amazing teacher and class with friends, I believe that AP mandarin will be exciting! I also hope to employ this knowledge and skill in future endeavors. Including a college course if offered! There is no sentiment to accurately describe how important this part of my life is to me; however, this is the best representation of the fun and beauty of Chinese culture, "雪花飘飘北风萧萧".
