Nominations/Elections

RCPS PTO Board Positions up for Nominations/Elections are President and Treasurer and are held for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years. Nominations will be presented and elections held on the October 5, 2020 PTO Meeting at 6:30 in room 35. Nominees must be present at the October meeting to accept their position.

Short Summary of all PTO Board Positions are listed below:  

President: Main liaison between teachers, parents and school administration and community. Organize and facilitate monthly meetings. Oversee all projects and delegate committee duties as required. Attend outside functions. 

Treasurer: Manages PTO bank account including making deposits, writing checks, reconciling bank statements. Must be willing to provide written reports to PTO on a monthly basis. Manage fundraising income and expenses. Attend monthly meetings.   

Vice President: Assist President in above listed duties as needed. Must be willing to assume President's role if acting President is unable to serve. Keep chalkboard in front lobby up to date with monthly happenings. Keep RCES PTO webspage and Facebook postings up to date. Attend monthly meetings and outside functions. 

Secretary: Maintain PTO membership database. Maintain all meeting minutes through out the school year and email previous minutes to members before each meeting as well as reminder dates and time. Keep RCES PTO webpage and Facebook postings up to date. Attend monthly meetings.
